Thermocontrol Accessories include interchangeable blocks designed to hold laboratory tubes, PCR strips, microplates and other compatible sample vessels during controlled heating or cooling. The range includes dual-purpose blocks for bead and water baths, standard heating blocks, magnetic blocks and thin heating blocks.
Available formats support 0.2 mL, 0.5 mL, 1.5 mL, 2 mL, 5 mL, 15 mL and 50 mL tubes, with different hole quantities to suit individual workflows. Options are also available for 0.2 mL PCR strips and 96-well PCR microplates. Each block should be selected according to the exact tube size, base shape, required capacity and compatible Thermocontrol unit.
Correct block fit helps keep vessels upright and in contact with the temperature-controlled surface. Users should confirm whether they require a standard, thin or magnetic block, as these formats may suit different equipment chambers and attachment systems. Blocks should not be selected by appearance alone.
