Description
The IEC energy and power meter is a digital instrument for measuring joules and watts in low-voltage AC and DC circuits. The meter itself is powered from 240 V AC mains, but the circuits being measured must remain low voltage. It measures current from 0.01 mA to 10 A, DC voltage up to 20 V, and AC voltage up to 15 V. It also supports frequency measurement conditions from 50 Hz up to 1 kHz.
Energy can be measured up to 999 kJ and power up to 200 W, making it suitable for practical work on electrical energy transfer, load power, and efficiency comparisons in controlled low-voltage setups. Connection is straightforward, connect the power source to the two input sockets and the load to the two output sockets, then select the required range by button. Zero offset is adjusted using the knob.
