Description
The Constant Current DC Power Supply, 30 mA / 30 V, also known as a low-current constant current laboratory power supply, is designed for experiments where the current through a connected load needs to remain constant. This special power supply holds constant current in the load. If the resistance of the load changes, the output voltage changes automatically to help maintain the selected current within the rated capability of the unit. The maximum current is listed as 30 mA, and the maximum voltage available to maintain 30 mA in the load is listed as 30 V DC.
A large digital meter is provided for monitoring the load. The meter can be switched to monitor current in mA or output voltage, supporting clear observation during classroom and laboratory experiments. This power supply is suitable for low-current physics circuits, resistance investigations, Ohm’s Law demonstrations, electrochemistry activities and general DC circuit experiments where controlled current output is required. Users should confirm the load resistance, current requirement, voltage limit and experiment setup before use. The connected circuit must remain within the rated 30 mA and 30 V DC output limits.
