The Digital AC Voltmeter LCD, also known as an AC voltage classroom meter, is designed for measuring alternating voltage in school laboratories, physics classrooms, electronics teaching rooms and supervised educational electrical experiments.
This Australian-made IEC voltmeter is designed for classroom durability and simple operation. It provides a clear LCD reading, making it suitable for teacher demonstrations and student practical work where AC voltage needs to be measured directly. The meter measures from 0.00 to 199.9 V AC with 0.1 V resolution. This supports practical classroom readings across suitable AC circuit experiments and teaching setups. The unit is powered by a standard 9 V battery, which is described as easy to change when required. A “LO-BATT” alarm displays before the battery must be replaced, with the supplied details stating that accuracy is not affected during the warning period.
Automatic power off occurs after 20 minutes to help protect against battery drain when the instrument is left on.
