Description

The Digital LED Student Mini Stroboscope, also known as a classroom LED strobe light, is designed for studying moving and rotating objects in physics laboratories, school science classrooms and supervised educational motion experiments.

This miniature LED stroboscope provides a bright white flash while avoiding the extreme brightness associated with larger Xenon strobe models. The silent flashing operation helps reduce classroom noise and supports better concentration during practical demonstrations.
The flash frequency is adjustable from 1 Hz to 500 Hz. The digital display can be selected to show flashes per second in Hz or RPM when the stroboscope is used with rotating devices. The instrument is microprocessor controlled, supporting accurate and stable flash timing during classroom use. This makes it suitable for observing periodic motion, rotational speed, vibration and frequency-related motion effects.

The stroboscope can be triggered from an external source or synchronised with mains frequency at 50 Hz. Provision is also made for flashing a very small remote LED flash head, supporting more flexible demonstration setups where a compact flash point is required. The supplied description states that the unit is powered by a 12 V AC PlugPak. The product title mentions 12 V AC/DC, so DC compatibility should be confirmed before final website upload if required. As with other stroboscopes, this instrument allows moving objects to be observed without physical contact. Motion can appear slowed, frozen or slowly moving, making it useful for experiments involving rotating discs, vibrating systems, mechanical motion and speed observation.
This stroboscope should be used under appropriate supervision. Users should avoid direct eye exposure to flashing light, consider sensitivity to flashing light and keep hands, leads and loose objects clear of moving equipment during demonstrations.

LabChoice Australia supplies Digital LED Student Mini Stroboscopes for school physics departments, university teaching laboratories and educational motion study workspaces. They are suitable for supervised experiments involving RPM observation, vibration, rotation, periodic motion and non-contact motion measurement.
