Description
The Aluminium Pulleys, 50 mm Diameter, Single, Double and Triple Types, also known as laboratory aluminium sheave pulleys, are designed for basic physics and mechanics experiments involving force, motion, work and pulley systems. These pulleys have a listed 50 mm diameter and are suitable for use in classroom demonstrations where students investigate how pulleys change the direction of force or support mechanical advantage setups. The range includes single sheave, double, double in-line and triple in-line pulley configurations, allowing teachers to select the appropriate pulley arrangement for the required experiment. These pulleys are useful for lessons covering tension, load movement, effort force, mechanical advantage, simple machines, force resolution and motion under controlled classroom conditions.
They can be used with compatible string, slotted weights, weight hangers, force meters, support rods or other approved mechanics apparatus. Users should confirm the required pulley configuration, mounting method, string size, load arrangement and approved experiment method before ordering or use. The pulley should be mounted securely before starting any activity. Do not use if the pulley is loose, damaged, misaligned or fitted to an unsuitable support setup. Keep fingers, hair, loose clothing and other objects clear of the rotating pulley and moving string during operation.
This product is intended for laboratory or educational settings only and should be used under appropriate teacher or laboratory supervision. This item is supplied as the selected aluminium pulley only. String, slotted weights, weight hanger, support stand, rods, clamps, force meter, worksheets and additional mechanics accessories are not included unless specified separately.
LabChoice Australia supplies Aluminium Pulleys for school science laboratories, physics classrooms, university teaching laboratories and STEM programs requiring practical equipment for force, tension and simple machine experiments.
