Description
The Scale Pans with Hook, Plastic, Brass and Aluminium, 75 mm, also known as hanging scale pans, are designed for laboratory and educational experiments involving mass measurement, force demonstrations and balance activities. These scale pans follow a traditional 75 mm diameter × 12 mm deep pan design, providing a practical suspended platform for holding compatible small items during approved classroom experiments. The plastic scale pan is supplied with chain and hook. The 3 miniature chains connect the pan to the strong hook, which is listed as the same hook type used in pulley sheaves.
The brass scale pan is supplied as a metal scale pan with cord and hook. The supplied description lists brass construction under product code LC-80-MF3721-001. The aluminium scale pan is supplied as a metal scale pan with cord and hook. The supplied description lists aluminium construction under product code LC-80-MF3722-001. These scale pans are useful for lessons covering mass comparison, weighing, suspended loads, balance, gravity, force, pulleys and basic mechanics.
