Description
The Air Track Air Tubes, 2 m and 2.5 m, with End Seals, also known as IEC air track replacement air tube assemblies, are designed for physics teaching laboratories using compatible air track systems. These items are supplied as the air tube only, drilled and anodised, complete with the assembly kit. The assembly kit includes the required setup components such as end caps, feet and related parts for installing the air tube. A basic IEC air track consists of an air tube with its assembly kit and an operational kit of parts for performing experiments. This product does not include the operational kit unless specified separately. The 2.5 m air tube is suitable for users requiring the 2.5 m air track tube assembly. The complete basic 2.5 m air track reference is listed as LC-80-MF0105Z-001.
The 2 m air tube is suitable for users requiring the 2 m air track tube assembly. The complete basic 2 m air track reference is listed as LC-80-MF0107Z-001. Optional accessories may be required depending on the teaching setup. The air blower and hose, listed as LC-80-LB0115-002, is used to quietly feed air into compatible air tracks or air tables. Optional sub base and assembly kits are available to support the air tube and help pull it straighter for improved performance. The 2.5 m sub base is listed as LC-80-MF0105-005, while the 2 m sub base is listed as LC-80-MF0107-005. The optional photogate kit, listed as LC-80-MF0138-001, provides a measuring system for use with compatible air tracks. The optional electronic timer, listed as LC-80-LB4064-101, operates the gates and measures time.
