Description
The Prepared Zoology Microscope Slide Set, also known as a 50 piece prepared animal biology slide set, is designed for zoology, biology, anatomy and microscopy teaching in laboratory and educational settings. This set includes 50 prepared slides covering animal tissues, mammalian organs, blood smears, microscopic organisms, reproductive examples and developmental biology specimens. The tissue slides support observation of key animal tissue types, including stratified squamous epithelium, ciliated epithelium, simple cuboidal epithelium, adipose tissue, hyaline cartilage, elastic cartilage, fibro cartilage and muscle tissue.
The set includes smooth muscle, skeletal muscle, cardiac muscle, nerve cell, mammal nerve and spinal cord examples, supporting practical lessons on muscle structure and nervous system observation. Mammalian organ and structure slides include taste bud, artery, vein, tooth, lungs, appendix, mammary gland, thymus gland, adrenal gland, pituitary gland, esophagus, trachea, stomach, intestine sections, skin, hair, ovary, kidney, ureter and rectum. The set also includes aquatic and microscopic organism examples such as Euglena, Daphnia, Paramecium, Planarian and Hydra, including Hydra with bud and Paramecium fission and conjugation examples.
Development and reproduction examples include meiosis locust and mammal blastula, supporting teaching activities around cell division, reproduction and early development. Prepared slides allow students to observe specimens without needing to prepare fresh slides during the lesson, making the set practical for teaching laboratories, revision sessions and demonstration activities. Users should handle slides carefully to avoid glass breakage, scratches or damage to prepared specimens. Slides should be stored in a suitable slide box or tray when not in use.
This product is intended for laboratory or educational settings only and should be used under appropriate teacher or laboratory supervision. It is not intended for medical diagnosis, clinical testing or specimen identification for patient care. This item is supplied as the prepared zoology microscope slide set only. Microscope, slide box, immersion oil, coverslips, stains and additional accessories are not included unless specified separately.
