Description
IEC recording timers for motion and falling experiments, supplied with kit materials for dot marking. Options include an 8 to 12V AC only timer producing 50 dots per second via 50 Hz vibration, and a two speed electronic timer generating 25 Hz or 50 Hz using a microprocessor from an AC or DC source or 12V AC/DC plug pack. Both use a heavy diecast base with rubber feet for stable vibration without clamping and include a stem for mounting on a retort stand.
AC Recording Timer 8 to 12V AC Only, 50 Dots per Second, Diecast Base, Paper and Carbon Discs Kit
IEC 8 to 12V AC recording timer used in schools for many years and described as almost indestructible. Heavy diecast base with rubber feet allows device to vibrate at 50 Hz without needing to clamp to the bench. Stem from the base permits mounting on a retort stand for falling experiments. Supplied as a kit complete with a 30 m roll of white paper and a set of 25 carbon discs for marking dots on the paper, at 50 dots per second. Large 180m long x 16mm wide paper rolls (LC-80-PA2670-006) are available together with packs of 100x carbon discs (LC-80-PA2670-008)
Electronic Recording Timer 12V AC/DC, 25 Hz or 50 Hz Selectable, Microprocessor, Paper and Carbon Discs Kit
IEC two speed recording timer similar to the AC recording timer but generates 25 Hz and 50 Hz electronically using a microprocessor, powered from an AC or DC source or 12V AC or DC plug pack. Slide switch selects frequency. Heavy diecast base with rubber feet allows vibration at 50 Hz without needing to clamp to the bench. Stem from the base permits mounting on a retort stand for falling experiments. Supplied as a kit complete with a 30 m roll of white paper and a set of 25 carbon discs for marking dots on the paper.Large 180m long x 16mm wide paper rolls (LC-80-PA2670-006) are available together with packs of 100x carbon discs (LC-80-PA2670-008)
