Digital Nutating Mixer is a gentle laboratory sample mixer designed for sensitive sample handling, staining workflows, and platform-based mixing applications. The 7° motion combines nutating and rocking-style movement, helping provide thorough, low-impact mixing where controlled sample agitation is required.

The mixer provides adjustable digital speed control from 2 to 80 rpm with 1 rpm speed accuracy, allowing users to select a suitable mixing speed for different sample types and workflow requirements. The 7° tilt motion supports gentle and consistent mixing across the platform, while the digital timer allows either continuous operation or timed operation with automatic switch-off. The timer range is 0 to 99 h 59 min, supporting both short and extended laboratory mixing runs.

A large 307 × 297 mm platform is included with a non-slip mat to support stable placement of vessels, trays, or suitable sample containers during operation. The unit is supplied with 6 rubber strips for securing items on the platform, and the maximum load capacity is 0.8 kg. An LED display provides clear operating status, while timed mode provides audible and visual end-of-run indication, with the time window showing “End” and flickering when the run is complete.

Designed for safe, low-energy laboratory operation, the unit uses an AC 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz power supply with maximum power consumption of 6.5 W. Operating conditions are 5 to 40°C and ≤80% relative humidity, and the unit has an IP21 protection level. The mixer dimensions are 440 × 296 × 189 mm, with a net weight of 7.3 kg, making it suitable for stable bench placement in routine laboratory environments.

For laboratory equipment reference, IEC 61010-1 is relevant to general safety requirements for electrical equipment used in measurement, control, and laboratory applications. ISO 9001 may be used as a general quality management reference where supplier or manufacturer certification is available. OECD Good Laboratory Practice guidance may also be relevant for laboratories working under documented quality systems, but these references should only be used where supported by the manufacturer’s documentation and laboratory application requirements.

For LabChoice Australia customers, Digital Nutating Mixer provides a practical solution for gentle sample mixing, staining workflows, timed platform agitation, and sensitive laboratory applications requiring controlled speed, adjustable timer operation, secure platform support, and low-energy operation.
