Description
The Low-Speed 220V Blood Collection Tube Centrifuge, also known as a clinical blood tube centrifuge, is designed for routine serum and plasma separation from compatible 3 to 10 mL blood collection tubes. It is suitable for clinical diagnostic laboratories, pathology laboratories, biochemical laboratories, hospital laboratories, blood banks, medical schools and research institutes requiring compact sample pre-processing equipment.
The centrifuge operates at a fixed speed of 3,400 rpm and produces a maximum relative centrifugal force of 1,600 × g. These operating conditions support low-speed separation of compatible blood collection tubes where serum or plasma needs to be prepared before biochemical analysis, clinical testing or other validated laboratory procedures.
The SE6-10P rotor accommodates up to 6 × 3 to 10 mL blood collection tubes, making the unit suitable for small-batch sample preparation. The correct tube type, fill level and balanced loading arrangement should be selected according to tube manufacturer guidance and the laboratory’s validated centrifugation method.
The electronic timer can be set from 30 seconds to 30 minutes, with continuous operation available for procedures requiring an unrestricted run period. The LED display shows the remaining run time, allowing laboratory personnel to monitor the centrifugation cycle clearly during routine sample processing.
One acceleration level and three deceleration levels allow the stopping response to be adjusted for different separation needs. The soft-braking function helps reduce disturbance of separated serum or plasma layers, supporting cleaner sample recovery after centrifugation.
The automatic lid lock prevents the lid from opening while the rotor is operating. A robust mechanical lid lock provides additional containment support, while the manual door lock can be released only after the centrifuge has stopped. The manufacturer also states that the unit has passed an explosion-proof test and includes door lock protection.
The transparent lid allows easy observation of the centrifuge chamber and supports optical calibration requirements. The AC fixed-frequency brushless motor supports routine operation with a specified noise level of no more than 63 dB. The centrifuge operates from 100 to 120 V or 200 to 240 V, 50/60 Hz power supply with a rated power of 80 W.
LabChoice Australia supplies this Low-Speed 220V Blood Collection Tube Centrifuge for clinical laboratories, pathology laboratories, blood banks, biochemical laboratories, hospital laboratories, medical schools, university teaching laboratories and medical research institutes. It is suitable for routine serum separation, plasma preparation and pre-analytical processing of compatible 3 to 10 mL blood collection tubes. The unit measures 359 × 318 × 222 mm and weighs 5.3 kg.
