Description
Dry Block Heater Blocks with round holes, when used with a dry block heater, are used for sample preservation and reaction work, enzyme digestions, enzyme activity studies, DNA amplification, incubation and activation of cultures, melting and boiling point work, and nucleic acid hybridisations.
This combined round-hole block range includes 20 hole formats with 10.5 mm, 12 mm, 13 mm and 14 mm hole widths, 12 hole formats with 15 mm, 16 mm and 17 mm hole widths, and a 20 hole format for 2 mL tubes with 10.7 mm hole width. Each block is designed with a round hole base type, chemical-resistant black anodised finish, thermometer reference hole, compatibility with many other dry block heater brands, and evaporation manifolds available to suit.
Each block measures L95 x W75 x H50 mm and is made from solid black anodised aluminium. The solid construction supports rapid heat transfer and fast block heat-up when used in a dry block heater, while excellent temperature uniformity supports reliable heating performance across compatible tube and hole formats.
These blocks are designed to suit dry block heaters and can also fit many other dry block heater brands. Customised blocks are also available upon request when a standard block is unsuitable, with 50 mm, 80 mm and 100 mm depths available to suit a wide range of applications. Also known as a dry bath block, constant temperature block, or test tube block.
