Description
96 Place Micro-Tray Blocks, when used with a dry block heater, are used for sample preservation and reaction work, enzyme digestions, enzyme activity studies, DNA amplification, incubation and activation of cultures, melting and boiling point work, and nucleic acid hybridisations.
This combined micro-tray block range includes 96 place flat well, conical well, round well and tapered well formats designed for 96 well microtiter and PCR plates. Each block features a chemical-resistant black anodised finish, thermometer reference hole, and evaporation manifolds available to suit compatible laboratory workflows.
Micro-plate blocks are designed to suit 2 place heaters or larger and can also fit many other dry block heater brands. These blocks occupy 2 standard block positions, allowing use with regular blocks in 3 and 4 place heaters, while a 4 place heater can accommodate 2 micro-plate blocks.
Each block measures L150 x W95 x H50 mm and is made from solid black anodised aluminium. The solid construction supports rapid heat transfer and fast block heat-up when used in a dry block heater, while excellent temperature uniformity supports consistent laboratory heating performance across compatible 96 well plate formats.
Customised blocks are also available upon request when a standard block is unsuitable. Also known as a micro plate block, PCR plate block, microtiter block, dry bath block, constant temperature block, or test tube block.
