The Polaroid Filter Sheet, 300 × 300 mm, also known as a polarising filter sheet, is designed for classroom optics experiments where students investigate polarised light and light transmission through polarising material. This product is supplied as a single 300 × 300 mm sheet, allowing users to cut smaller pieces as required for demonstrations, student practicals or replacement filter needs. The Polaroid film thickness is listed as 0.18 mm, providing a thin sheet format suitable for compatible light and optics activities.
The sheet can be used to demonstrate polarisation effects, changes in transmitted light intensity, filter rotation behaviour and comparisons between aligned and crossed polarising filters.
