Description
The Polaroid Filter Sheet, 300 × 300 mm, also known as a polarising filter sheet, is designed for classroom optics experiments where students investigate polarised light and light transmission through polarising material. This product is supplied as a single 300 × 300 mm sheet, allowing users to cut smaller pieces as required for demonstrations, student practicals or replacement filter needs. The Polaroid film thickness is listed as 0.18 mm, providing a thin sheet format suitable for compatible light and optics activities.
The sheet can be used to demonstrate polarisation effects, changes in transmitted light intensity, filter rotation behaviour and comparisons between aligned and crossed polarising filters. Standard Polaroid filter formats are also available as pairs in 50 × 50 mm, 75 × 75 mm and 100 × 100 mm sizes. The 300 × 300 mm option is supplied as a single larger piece for users who need to cut custom sizes. This filter sheet is suitable for school science laboratories, physics classrooms, optics teaching spaces and general education laboratories conducting experiments on light, polarisation and optical filtering.
Users should cut the sheet carefully using an approved method and confirm that the required filter size and shape match the intended experiment or holder. This item is supplied as one 300 × 300 mm Polaroid filter sheet only. Light source, filter holder, optical bench, lenses, screens and any additional accessories are not included unless specified separately.
LabChoice Australia supplies Polaroid Filter Sheets for school science laboratories, physics classrooms, university teaching spaces and optics education environments requiring practical apparatus for polarisation demonstrations.
