Description
The Double LED Hotplate Magnetic Stirrer Package, also known as a compact digital hotplate stirrer package, is designed for controlled heating and magnetic stirring of compatible liquid samples up to 3 L. This unit provides digital temperature control from room temperature to 280°C and magnetic stirring from 200 to 1500 rpm, supporting routine heating, dissolution, reagent preparation and sample mixing workflows. The double LED display shows temperature and stirring speed, allowing users to monitor the main operating parameters clearly during use.
The work plate is listed as an aluminium cover with ceramic coating. This ceramic-coated surface supports chemical resistance for compatible laboratory applications and assists with routine cleaning after use. External temperature control is supported using a PT1000 temperature sensor, with listed accuracy of ±0.2°C. The temperature control accuracy is listed as ±1°C below 100°C and ±1% above 100°C, while temperature display accuracy is listed as ±1°C. The unit includes a “HOT” warning at 50°C, helping alert users when the work plate remains hot. Overheating temperature protection is listed at 320°C.
The stirrer uses a brushless DC motor and has one stirring position. The maximum magnetic stir bar length is listed as 50 mm. The protection class is listed as IP42. Motor rating output is 3 W, total power is 600 W and heating output is 500 W. The voltage and frequency are listed as 100 to 120 V / 200 to 240 V, 50/60 Hz. The overall dimensions are listed as 150 × 260 × 100 mm, with a weight of 1.8 kg. Permissible operating conditions are listed as 5 to 40°C ambient temperature and 80% RH permissible ambient humidity. No data connector or timer function is listed for this model.
This hotplate magnetic stirrer is suitable for preparation and dissolution of buffers, reagents and culture media samples, teaching and basic laboratory experiments, rapid sample concentration and drying, and pre-treatment for analytical testing. Typical users include biologists, quality control personnel, analytical laboratory staff, university teaching chemistry laboratories, R&D teams and QC inspectors in petrochemical, pharmaceutical and food testing laboratories. The product is listed as complying with applicable CE, UKCA, FCC, ICES and RoHS requirements, with CB and cTUVus certifications.
Users should confirm vessel suitability, sample volume, stir bar size, temperature requirement, PT1000 inclusion, package contents and chemical compatibility before operation. Heated surfaces should be handled only after cooling and under approved laboratory procedures. This item is supplied as the package version hotplate magnetic stirrer configuration only. Vessels, magnetic stir bars, clamps, stands, samples and additional accessories are not included unless specified separately.
LabChoice Australia supplies Double LED Hotplate Magnetic Stirrer Packages for school science laboratories, university teaching laboratories, research facilities, QC laboratories, analytical laboratories and general laboratory environments requiring compact heating and stirring equipment.
