Description
The Copper Calorimeter Cups, Nickel Plated, also known as copper laboratory calorimeter cups, are designed for school and teaching laboratory calorimetry experiments where a practical metal cup is required for heat transfer investigations. These calorimeter cups are spun from copper sheet, supporting good heat transfer performance during suitable classroom experiments. The polished nickel plated outside finish provides a clean laboratory appearance and supports routine handling. Two size options are available. The standard small calorimeter cup measures 50 × 75 mm, diameter × height. The larger calorimeter cup measures 75 × 100 mm, diameter × height.
Each cup is supplied with a rolled edge, helping improve rim strength and making the cup easier to handle during normal laboratory setup and cleaning. These cups are suitable for compatible calorimetry activities involving heat transfer, temperature change, electrical heating demonstrations, specific heat investigations and general teaching experiments where the selected cup size is appropriate. The 50 × 75 mm cup may be used with compatible calorimeter lids, Joule’s inserts and insulation accessories where fitment has been confirmed. The 75 × 100 mm cup is suitable where a larger calorimeter cup format is required.
Users should confirm cup diameter, cup height, compatible lid size, insert fit, insulation box compatibility and experiment method before purchase or classroom use. This item is supplied as the selected copper calorimeter cup only. Lid, stirrer, thermometer, Joule’s insert, insulation box, water and any additional accessories are not included unless specified separately.
LabChoice Australia supplies Copper Calorimeter Cups for school science laboratories, chemistry teaching spaces, physics classrooms and general education laboratories requiring practical apparatus for calorimetry and heat transfer experiments.
