Description
The Steel Ball Set for Physics Classrooms and Teaching Lab, Set of 20 Each, also known as steel ball sets for physics experiments, are designed for basic science and physics demonstrations involving rolling, collision and falling motion. The set includes 20 × 12.7 mm diameter steel balls, 20 × 16 mm diameter steel balls and 20 × 19 mm diameter steel balls, giving a total of 60 balls. These balls are useful for experiments involving motion, acceleration, rolling behaviour, collisions, impact observation, momentum demonstrations and falling object investigations.
The three sizes allow students to compare behaviour between different ball diameters during approved classroom and laboratory activities. This set is suitable for school science laboratories, university teaching laboratories, physics classrooms and STEM practical programs. Users should confirm the required ball diameter, apparatus fit, ramp width, track design, free fall equipment compatibility and experiment method before use. Steel balls should be handled carefully. Do not throw, launch, strike with excessive force or use near faces, glassware or fragile equipment.
Small steel balls may present choking hazards and projectile hazards. Keep away from young children unless used under direct supervision. This product is intended for laboratory or educational settings only and should be used under appropriate teacher or laboratory supervision. This item is supplied as the set of steel balls only. Ramps, tracks, collision apparatus, free fall apparatus, timers, photogates, containers and additional accessories are not included unless specified separately.
LabChoice Australia supplies Steel Balls and physics teaching accessories for school science laboratories, university teaching laboratories and educational facilities requiring practical components for motion, collision and falling object experiments.
