The Air Source Spare Hose Assembly, Style, 2 m Long, also known as an air blower hose assembly or Air Track spare hose, is designed as a replacement hose for compatible IEC air source systems. This spare hose and hose end fitting assembly is listed for use with the IEC Air Blower LC-80-LB0115-002, commonly used with compatible Air Tracks and Air Tables. The hose length is listed as 2 m, providing a practical connection length between the air blower and the compatible apparatus during classroom physics demonstrations.
This hose assembly fits only the newer series Air Track tube as listed. Users with an older Air Track tube should confirm compatibility before ordering. An older tube can be adapted to accept the newer series blower and hose when fitted with the reducing bush LC-80-PA0130-034A, which reduces the hole size as listed. Users should confirm blower model, Air Track or Air Table model, hose end fitting type, tube series and any required reducing bush before purchase or setup.
Do not force hose fittings into incompatible tube openings, as this may damage the hose, fitting or air track end assembly. Use only with approved educational air blower equipment. Do not use this hose assembly for compressed gas cylinders, chemical vapours, hazardous gases, vacuum systems or pressure applications unless specifically approved. This product is intended for laboratory or educational settings only and should be used under appropriate supervision. This item is supplied as the selected spare hose assembly with hose end fittings only. Air blower, Air Track, Air Table, reducing bush, gliders, pucks, timers, photogates, power leads and additional air track accessories are not included unless specified separately.
