Description
The Air Track Flat Loop Springs, Stainless Steel, 15 cm and 30 cm, also known as air track glider loop springs, are designed for compatible air track glider systems used in physics and mechanics experiments. These flat loop springs are made from stainless steel and are used to join 2 compatible gliders together during approved air track demonstrations. The range includes a 30 cm diameter × 12 mm wide flat loop spring and a 15 cm diameter × 12 mm wide flat loop spring, allowing users to select the required spring size for the selected experiment setup.
These springs are useful for lessons covering oscillation, elastic interaction, restoring force, coupled motion, momentum, energy transfer and air track-based dynamics. Users should confirm the air track model, glider type, spring holder compatibility, spring diameter, attachment method and experiment requirement before ordering or use. The spring should be inspected before each activity. Do not use if it is bent, overstretched, corroded, loose, cracked or incompatible with the selected glider system.
Keep hands, loose clothing and fragile items clear of moving gliders and tensioned spring components during air track operation.
