- Description
Description
Non-Refillable pH/Temp Electrode for Strong Acid and Hydrofluoric Acid Liquids, 0–12 pH, also known as an acid-resistant pH / temperature electrode, is designed for users who need specialised pH measurement in aggressive acidic liquid samples.
This electrode is suitable for laboratories, research facilities, water-quality teams, process testing areas and quality-control workflows where strong acid or HF-containing samples require careful electrode selection and controlled measurement practice.
The HF-type membrane supports use in acidic applications where hydrofluoric corrosion and acidic error may affect standard electrode performance. The open junction and polymer electrolyte format help maintain contact with the sample while reducing clogging risk during compatible liquid testing.
The Silver Ion Trap reference system supports stable reference behaviour in an Ag⁺-free environment, while the built-in temperature sensor enables automatic temperature compensation when used with a compatible meter. This makes the electrode practical for users who need pH and temperature-linked measurement from one specialised electrode setup.
Important Safety Note: Hydrofluoric acid is highly hazardous. Users must confirm permitted HF concentration, exposure time, PPE, laboratory safety procedure, neutralisation method and disposal requirements before using this electrode with HF-containing samples.
Users should confirm meter compatibility, sample composition, cleaning routine and storage requirements before regular use. Strong acid and hydrofluoric acid workflows should always follow the laboratory’s approved chemical handling method.
LabChoice Australia supplies non-refillable pH / temperature electrodes for schools, universities, research laboratories, water-quality professionals and testing facilities requiring specialised pH measurement for strong acid and hydrofluoric acid-containing liquid applications.
