Options include internal 9V #216 battery powered current amplifiers, small audio amplification on 9V or 12V AC/DC, a 220/240V AC mains audio amplifier with larger speaker, and a listed dual 10MHz and AC/DC audio 9V amplifier option.
DC Amplifier for Franck Hertz, Microamp to Milliamp, Internal 9V #216 Cell, Gain ~1000:1
Old model DC amplifier originally designed to be added to a Franck Hertz apparatus(LC-80-AP1870-001) to amplify very small currents so they can be seen on a student bench meter. Franck Hertz unit now has an inbuilt amplifier, so this unit is now used as a microamp to milliamp amplifier. No on/off switch and current is drawn only when it is used as an amplifier. Internal 9V #216 dry cell. Can be used for general high gain amplification applications. Input volts must exceed 0.6 V and with gain close to 1000:1 it will generally convert microamps of current into milliamps.See also LC-80-LB0071-001.

Amplifier for converting very small currents into larger current that can be read on a student meter. Extremely low input impedance and gain about 1000:1. Amplifies at very low input voltages and designed specially for the electromagnetic induction apparatus LC-80-EM1740-001, effectively converts µA of current into mA for reading on a normal student meter. Has zero offset control for best accuracy and a gain control to change amplification from low up to 1000:1. Internal 9V #216 dry cell and can be used for any signal amplification application.

IEC audio amplifier rugged instrument with inbuilt loudspeaker. Input by 3.5 mm phone jack at 15 mV max or by banana plug at 150 mV max. Output via loudspeaker with speaker on/off switch or by 4 mm sockets to an oscilloscope to view the output signal. Rugged enough to withstand student use.
