Description
The Laser View Kit and Part Sets, also known as laser ray optics demonstration pieces, are designed for school science and physics classrooms where students need to observe how a laser beam travels through transparent optical shapes. The kit uses specially moulded prisms and bars that allow a laser beam to be visible as it passes through the plastic. This makes it easier for students to follow the light path during optics demonstrations.
The special prism shapes are the same style as those used in the Hodson Light Box kit, supporting familiar classroom optics activities with a laser-based viewing method. The long straight and curved bars are used to demonstrate optical fibre principles and internal reflection. These pieces help students observe how light can travel through a transparent path and change direction inside a shaped medium. The kit supports teaching activities involving refraction, light bending, light path tracing, internal reflection, optical fibre behaviour and introductory photonics concepts.
Three supplied formats are available. The full set includes 8 parts, the part set includes 6 shaped pieces, and the bar-only set includes 2 bars for optical fibre and internal reflection demonstrations. This product is suitable for optics teaching, photonics demonstrations, laser light path observation and classroom experiments using approved laser safety procedures. Users should confirm the required kit format, laser source suitability, classroom safety method and supervision requirements before use. Laser light should only be used under appropriate teacher or laboratory supervisor control. This item is supplied as the selected Laser View Kit or part set only. Laser source, light box, optical bench, screens and any additional accessories are not included unless specified separately.
LabChoice Australia supplies Laser View Kits and Part Sets for school science laboratories, physics classrooms, optics teaching spaces and general education laboratories requiring practical apparatus for light path and photonics demonstrations.
