Description
The I-Gauge with BeeSpi V for Height, Speed and Impact Experiments, also known as a height-speed impact demonstration apparatus, is designed for mechanics experiments involving rolling balls, speed measurement and impact observation. This apparatus helps demonstrate the relationship between release height and speed, allowing students to investigate how changes in track angle and starting position affect the motion of a ball. The kit can also be used to observe impact force effects when a rolling ball collides with the supplied object block. The apparatus includes 1 steel ball and 1 ceramic ball, with the ball diameter listed as approximately 25 mm. This allows comparison between different ball materials during approved classroom experiments.
The equipment size is listed as 1050 × 100 × 185 mm, with a 1000 mm track and 500 mm scale length for positioning and measurement activities. The track angle is adjustable from 0° to 45°, supporting controlled demonstrations of height, slope, speed and impact behaviour. An acrylic resin object block is included, with approximate dimensions of 40 × 80 × 14 mm, for use in compatible impact demonstrations. The kit includes BeeSpi V, S77-1321-W0, as listed, supporting the apparatus setup for classroom measurement and demonstration work. This product is suitable for school science laboratories, university teaching laboratories and physics classrooms studying motion, energy transfer, acceleration, impact and mechanics.
Users should confirm the approved experiment method, BeeSpi V setup, ball positioning, track angle, impact area and supervision requirements before use. Rolling balls may create impact and projectile hazards if misused. Keep the track stable, keep faces and fingers clear of the impact area, and do not use damaged balls, track parts or object blocks.
This product is intended for laboratory or educational settings only and should be used under appropriate supervision. This item is supplied as the I-Gauge apparatus with BeeSpi V, balls and object block only. Additional sensors, timers, data systems, stands, clamps, worksheets, PPE and accessories are not included unless specified separately.
LabChoice Australia supplies I-Gauge Apparatus and mechanics teaching equipment for school science laboratories, university teaching laboratories and educational facilities requiring practical tools for height, speed and impact experiments.
