The Tuning Fork Set, 8 Pieces with Wooden Case and Hammer, also known as a laboratory tuning fork frequency set, is designed for practical demonstrations of sound, pitch, vibration and resonance. This set includes 8 tuning forks with listed frequencies of 256 Hz, 288 Hz, 320 Hz, 341 Hz, 384 Hz, 426 Hz, 480 Hz and 512 Hz. The different frequencies allow students to compare pitch changes and observe how frequency relates to the sound produced. The tuning forks are supplied in a wooden storage box, helping keep the set organised and protected when not in use. A hammer or rubber mallet is included for striking the forks during demonstrations.
