Description
The Siren Disc Blow Tube Only, Metal with Jet, also known as a siren disc air jet tube, is designed for use with the Siren Disc LC-80-SW3760-001. This blow tube directs a fine jet of air onto the set of holes in a rotating siren disc. As the rotating holes interrupt the air stream, a siren sound is produced for classroom sound and frequency demonstrations. The accessory supports practical teaching of sound production, pitch, frequency, vibration and air pulse effects in physics and general science lessons.
The metal blow tube with jet is suitable for school science laboratories, physics classrooms, STEM teaching spaces and university teaching laboratories using compatible siren disc apparatus. Users should confirm compatibility with the existing siren disc, mounting arrangement and approved demonstration method before use. During operation, keep fingers, hair, loose clothing and other objects away from the rotating siren disc. Air should be applied carefully and only as required for the demonstration.
This product is intended for laboratory or educational settings only and should be used under appropriate teacher or laboratory supervision. This item is supplied as the metal blow tube with jet only. Siren disc, air source, motor, drive system, stand, clamps and additional accessories are not included unless specified separately.
