Description
The LCD Digital Horizontal Tube Rotator, also known as a horizontal rotating mixer, provides gentle and continuous 360° movement for samples held in compatible sealed centrifuge tubes. Its controlled rolling and rotating action supports laboratory procedures that require consistent mixing without the vigorous agitation associated with high-speed vortex mixing.
The adjustable speed range from 10 to 70 rpm allows the operator to select a suitable rotation rate according to the tube size, sample characteristics and laboratory protocol. Speed and operating time are shown on the LCD, providing clear monitoring and supporting more consistent operation during routine sample preparation.
An adjustable tilt angle from 0° to 90° allows the rotisserie position to be configured for different mixing orientations. This flexibility helps laboratories adapt the instrument to procedures requiring horizontal rolling, angled rotation or continuous end-over-end sample movement.
The rotator can operate continuously or with a programmed timer from 1 to 1199 minutes. These operating modes support both extended mixing procedures and defined processing periods. The brushless DC motor is designed for reliable extended use and reduced routine motor maintenance.
A wide range of disk and rotisserie accessories is available, including holder configurations for 1.5 mL and 50 mL centrifuge tubes. The unit can also be used in cold rooms or incubators within its specified operating range of 5 to 40°C and up to 80% relative humidity, supporting temperature-controlled laboratory workflows.
LabChoice Australia supplies this LCD Digital Horizontal Tube Rotator for biotechnology, molecular biology, biochemistry, clinical research, pathology, pharmaceutical, university, educational and general life-science laboratories. It is suitable for gentle tube mixing, maintaining suspended materials in motion, blending laboratory samples and supporting preparation procedures where controlled horizontal rotation is required.
