Description
The Air Table Parts, also known as air table dynamics and kinematics accessories, are designed for maintaining and supporting compatible air table systems used in motion, collision and low friction mechanics experiments. They are suitable for school physics laboratories, university teaching laboratories and supervised educational mechanics demonstrations. Air tables use compressed air to create a thin air layer that helps reduce frictional forces during puck or object motion. This allows students to observe motion, collisions and kinematic behaviour in a more controlled classroom setting.
Bronze bumper wire options are available for the long side and short side of the air table setup. These parts support controlled boundary contact during compatible collision and motion experiments. A bronze spring is listed for holding the bumper wires in place. This helps support secure fitment of the bumper arrangement and repeatable table-edge behaviour during practical demonstrations. A hollow centre pin is also listed for cord use at the centre of the table. No further specifications were supplied, so users should confirm compatibility with the existing air table setup and intended cord-based experiment before selection.
The complete air table operating kit is supplied as an operating kit only. The table and adjustment feet are not included, making this option suitable for refurbishment, replacement or completion of existing compatible air table systems. Users should select parts according to the specific air table configuration, side length, existing hardware and experiment requirements. Air table experiments should be performed under appropriate supervision using compatible pucks, air supply, cords and safe classroom procedures.
LabChoice Australia supplies Air Table Parts for school physics departments, university teaching laboratories and educational dynamics workspaces. They are suitable for supervised experiments covering low friction motion, collisions, velocity, acceleration, cord-based constraints and introductory kinematics using compatible air table systems.
