Description
The Unmounted Colour Filter Sheets, also known as acetate colour filter sheets, are designed for optics, colour mixing and light transmission experiments in school science laboratories, physics classrooms, university teaching laboratories and educational demonstration settings. Each filter is made from acetate and supplied as an unmounted 100 × 100 mm square sheet. The unmounted format allows the sheets to be used with compatible slide holders, apertures, light boxes and optical teaching setups where framed filters are not required.
The range is available as a 10-piece set or as individual colour sheets. This allows users to purchase a complete colour selection for classroom demonstrations or replace selected colours as required. The 10-piece set includes primary red, primary green, primary blue, chrome yellow, magenta, violet, yellow, cyan, orange and bright blue. These colours support practical demonstrations involving colour transmission, additive and subtractive colour effects, filtering and visual comparison of light behaviour. The consistent 100 × 100 mm square size supports easy handling and quick swapping between filters during experiments. This helps teachers and students compare how different filter colours affect transmitted light in a simple and repeatable way.
LabChoice Australia supplies Unmounted Colour Filter Sheets for school physics laboratories, science classrooms, university teaching laboratories, optics kits and educational light experiments. They are suitable for supervised colour mixing, light transmission, filter comparison and basic optics demonstrations using compatible light sources and holders.
