Description
The CO₂ Resistant Orbital Shaker, also known as a CO₂ incubator orbital shaker, is designed for shaking applications inside high humidity and CO₂-controlled environments. It can also be used as a common laboratory orbital shaker outside a CO₂ incubator. This shaker uses a magnetic drive mechanism composed of magnets and sealed electrical coils. The magnetic drive eliminates the need for belt replacement, helping support long service life and reduced maintenance requirements.
The unit provides an orbital shaking speed range from 30 to 300 rpm, with a 19 mm orbit diameter. This makes it suitable for controlled mixing, gentle agitation and culture-related shaking workflows where compatible vessels and operating conditions are used. The shaker is designed with a small footprint for use inside compatible CO₂ incubators. Specially treated mechanical components help protect the shaker in conditions up to 20% CO₂ and 95% humidity, while the listed ambient operating condition supports 5 to 60°C and humidity below 99% RH.
The external control box can be detached from the shaker body, allowing speed and time settings to be adjusted remotely without opening the incubator chamber door. This helps reduce disturbance to the CO₂ chamber environment during operation. The LED display provides clear parameter visibility, while the timer supports 0 to 99 h 59 min. A setting of 0 supports continuous operation, depending on the selected workflow.
