Description
The Brass Slotted Weights, Individual, 5 g to 100 g, also known as slotted brass masses, are designed for laboratory and educational experiments requiring small adjustable loads. These individual weights are made from pressed brass and feature a slotted design, allowing them to be added to compatible slotted weight carriers during approved physics and mechanics activities. Available weight options include 5 g, 10 g, 20 g, 25 g, 50 g and 100 g, supporting flexible load selection for classroom experiments.
The 5 g slotted weight is an individual pressed brass weight with a cropped section in the circular profile. The 10 g slotted weight is also an individual pressed brass weight with a small cropped section. The 20 g, 25 g, 50 g and 100 g slotted weights are listed as suitable for the standard IEC slotted weight carrier, making them practical for common school and teaching laboratory setups. The 20 g to 100 g options are listed with accuracy better than 1%. For the 5 g and 10 g options, users should confirm accuracy and carrier compatibility before ordering if these details are critical to the experiment.
These slotted weights are useful for lessons covering mass, force, gravity, load, tension, pulleys, springs, levers, friction and basic mechanics. They can be used with compatible stands, pulleys, spring balances, force meters or other approved apparatus where a controlled hanging load is required. This product is intended for laboratory or educational settings only and should be used under appropriate teacher or laboratory supervision. Small weights should be kept away from young children and should not be placed in the mouth. Weights should be handled carefully to avoid dropping them onto glassware, balances, benches or feet. This item is supplied as the selected individual brass slotted weight only. Slotted weight carrier, stand, hook, hanger, pulley, spring balance, storage box and additional weights are not included unless specified separately.
LabChoice Australia supplies Brass Slotted Weights for school science laboratories, physics classrooms, university teaching laboratories and STEM education environments requiring practical masses for mechanics and force experiments.
