Description
The Air Track Foot, also known as an air track support and levelling component, is designed for maintaining and setting up compatible later model air track systems. It is suitable for school physics laboratories, university teaching laboratories and supervised educational mechanics experiments. This replacement component range includes moulded plastic feet, modified foot supports, attachment hardware, reinforcing brace parts and height adjustment components. These parts support routine maintenance, setup and alignment of compatible air track or sub base assemblies.
The moulded plastic foot can be used either vertically or horizontally on the air track or sub base. This supports flexible positioning where compatible later model air track systems require replacement or setup support. A shortened plastic foot option is available for supporting spark tracks or paper support tracks. This part is described as a standard moulded plastic foot that has been cut shorter for the required support function.
The attachment hardware option includes the screw and aluminium square nut used for fixing the plastic foot to the air track or sub base. Users should confirm fitment, thread compatibility and track model before installation. A metal brace is available to reinforce the double lateral support feet used on later model air tracks. This helps support rigidity and reduce unwanted movement during setup, handling and classroom experiment use. Height adjustment components include a blue plastic knob with metal thread and a matching blue plastic locking nut. The threaded adjuster screws into the plastic foot to adjust height and lateral setting, while the lock nut helps secure the selected position for repeatable setup.
