Description
The Air Track Springs, also known as air track glider spring and connection accessories, are designed for compatible air track experiments involving low friction motion, glider interaction and simple harmonic motion. They are suitable for school physics laboratories, university teaching laboratories and supervised educational mechanics demonstrations. This range includes flat loop springs, a flat loop spring holder, coil springs and an air inlet bush. These parts support experiment setup, replacement, maintenance and adaptation of compatible air track systems.
The stainless steel flat loop springs are designed to join two gliders together. Two sizes are listed: 30 cm diameter × 12 mm wide and 15 cm diameter × 12 mm wide. These loop springs support glider connection activities during low friction motion demonstrations. The flat loop spring holder is designed to fit and clamp into the end of a glider. It is supplied with a screw and nut, supporting secure attachment of compatible flat loop springs during classroom experiments.
Coil spring options include a 300 mm length spring for simple harmonic motion experiments and a 60 mm length spring used to join gliders together to form a simple harmonic motion system. These springs support demonstrations of oscillation, restoring force and motion on a low friction track. The air inlet bush is used to adapt an old style air track end moulding. It reduces the hole size to suit the smaller hose used on a later model adjustable speed air blower, helping maintain compatibility between older track parts and newer blower hose arrangements. Users should confirm air track model, glider compatibility, spring attachment method and hose fit before selection. These parts are intended for supervised laboratory and educational use with compatible air track systems and suitable classroom procedures.
LabChoice Australia supplies Air Track Springs and related accessories for school physics departments, university teaching laboratories and educational mechanics workspaces. They are suitable for supervised glider experiments, simple harmonic motion demonstrations, spring connection setups, air inlet adaptation and low friction motion studies using compatible air track apparatus.
