Description
The LED Digital Glass Ceramic Hotplate with Package, also known as a digital laboratory heating plate, is designed for controlled benchtop heating in education, research, testing, technical and routine laboratory environments. It combines a durable glass ceramic work surface, LED temperature display and high-temperature heating performance for laboratories requiring reliable sample preparation equipment.
The 7-inch glass ceramic work plate measures 184 × 184 mm and provides a smooth, practical heating surface for compatible laboratory vessels. The glass ceramic material supports efficient heat transfer and chemical-resistant performance, making it suitable for repeated laboratory heating tasks where durability and easy surface handling are important.
The hotplate provides a heating temperature range from room temperature to 550°C, adjustable in 5°C increments. Temperature control accuracy is specified at ±10°C, while the temperature display accuracy is ±1°C, supporting routine heating applications where clear digital monitoring is required.
External temperature control is possible by connecting a PT1000 temperature sensor, with stated sensor accuracy of ±0.2°C. This supports closer sample temperature monitoring during procedures where the sample or vessel temperature needs to be followed more directly than the work plate temperature alone.
The LED display helps users view temperature information clearly during operation. The single heating position provides a compact and efficient setup for routine solution warming, sample drying, sample concentration, digestion preparation and general laboratory heating procedures.
Safety features include a HOT warning that flashes when the work plate temperature is above 50°C, helping users identify residual heat after operation. Separate overheating protection is set at 580°C, supporting safer operation during high-temperature laboratory workflows.
The hotplate is suitable for high-boiling acid digestion of minerals, preparation of nanomaterials and inorganic materials, sample ashing, sintering of metal catalysts, rapid removal of high-boiling solvents, sample drying, sample concentration and pre-treatment for analytical testing.
