Description
The LED Digital Glass Ceramic Hotplate, also known as a high-temperature laboratory heating plate, is designed for controlled heating in mineral processing, metallurgy, environmental testing, petrochemical research, functional materials development, battery materials research, analytical testing and university research laboratories.
The 7-inch glass ceramic work plate measures 184 × 184 mm and provides excellent chemical-resistant performance with efficient heat transfer. This makes the hotplate suitable for high-temperature workflows using compatible laboratory vessels and validated heating procedures.
The heating temperature range extends from room temperature to 550°C, adjustable in 5°C increments. Temperature control accuracy is specified at ±10°C, while temperature display accuracy is ±1°C, supporting routine laboratory heating where a durable high-temperature benchtop hotplate is required.
External temperature control is possible by connecting a PT1000 temperature sensor, with stated sensor accuracy of ±0.2°C. This allows closer monitoring of sample or vessel temperature when the laboratory method requires external temperature feedback during heating.
The LED display shows the actual operating temperature clearly during use. The single heating position supports focused heating for sample digestion, solvent removal, sample drying, concentration and analytical pre-treatment procedures.
Safety features include separate safety circuits with overheating temperature protection at 580°C. The HOT warning flashes when the work plate temperature is above 50°C, helping users identify residual heat after operation and supporting safer handling around the hotplate.
Typical applications include high-boiling acid digestion of minerals, preparation of nanomaterials and inorganic materials, sample ashing and sintering of metal catalysts, rapid removal of high-boiling solvents, sample drying, sample concentration and pre-treatment of environmental water, soil and pollutant samples.
LabChoice Australia supplies this LED Digital Glass Ceramic Hotplate for R&D laboratories in mineral processing and metallurgical production, environmental monitoring stations testing heavy metal pollutants in soil and water, university petrochemical and functional materials laboratories, battery electrode materials laboratories, analytical testing laboratories and industrial quality-control facilities.
