Description
The Unbreakable Concave and Convex Mirror, also known as a plastic concave/convex optics mirror, is designed for classroom demonstrations where students compare reflection behaviour from curved mirror surfaces. This mirror has a listed diameter of 100 mm and is made from plastic, supporting practical use in school science and physics teaching environments where a durable mirror option is preferred.
The concave side can be used to demonstrate image formation, magnification effects and changing image appearance as the object distance is varied. It is suitable for simple reflection and optics activities under teacher supervision. The convex side can be used to show wider-angle reflection, smaller apparent image size and how convex mirrors alter the appearance of reflected objects. This supports basic teaching around mirror shape and reflected image behaviour.
The combined concave/convex format allows students to compare two different mirror types using one compact teaching aid, making it useful for practical classroom discussion and demonstration. This mirror is suitable for lessons on reflection, curved mirrors, real and virtual image concepts, apparent size, field of view and general optics observations.
