Description
The IEC Young’s fringes set includes three double-slit apertures used to produce the classic Young’s interference pattern and demonstrate the wave behaviour of light. When illuminated with monochromatic light or laser light, each double slit causes diffraction at the slit edges, and the two diffracted beams overlap to form an interference pattern.
This interference produces a clear series of bright and dark fringes on a screen placed some distance away.
