Description
This range brings together tuning fork teaching sets and a mounted resonance demonstration pair for sound and wave experiments in laboratories and classrooms. It includes blued steel, chrome plated, and aluminium alloy steel tuning fork sets in case formats, along with a paired 426.6 Hz resonance box model for demonstrating sympathetic resonance and beats. The range supports selection by set material, supplied case style, included accessories, and mounted demonstration format.
Tuning Fork Set, 8 Blued Steel in Case Type
This tuning fork set is supplied as a set of 8 blued steel forks in a polystyrene case. The set includes C256, D288, E320, F341.3, G384, A426.6, B480, and C512, providing a practical range of frequencies for classroom and laboratory sound demonstrations.
Tuning Fork Set, 8 Chrome Plated in Foam Case Type
This tuning fork set is supplied as a set of 8 chrome plated forks in a foam case. It provides a protected multi-fork set format for routine sound and frequency demonstration work. Spare individual forks are available on request.
Tuning Fork Set, 8 Aluminium Alloy Steel in Case with Hammer Type
This high quality tuning fork set is supplied in a wooden box with hammer. The set includes 256 Hz, 288 Hz, 320 Hz, 341 Hz, 384 Hz, 426 Hz, 480 Hz, and 512 Hz forks. A rubber mallet is included, supporting practical use in sound and frequency demonstration work.
Tuning Fork on Resonance Boxes, 2 x 426.6 Hz Type
This variation is supplied as a pair of steel tuning forks mounted on individual resonance boxes for demonstrating sympathetic resonance and beats. One fork is provided with an adjustable mass, allowing the frequency to be shifted from the nominal 426.6 Hz. When both forks are sounded, a clearly audible beat is produced, with the beat rate depending on the difference in frequency between the forks. It is suited to classroom demonstration of resonance and beat frequency principles.
