Description
The TechTray Dissecting and General Purpose Laboratory Tray, also known as a polypropylene dissecting tray, is designed for biology dissection, specimen handling, general chemistry bench work and routine laboratory activities. This tray is made from hygienic, lightweight polypropylene and is designed for durability during repeated classroom and laboratory use. The stackable design supports efficient storage in school science laboratories, university teaching laboratories, preparation rooms and general laboratory work areas. The tray includes an etched scale, providing a practical reference during specimen handling, dissection activities or general bench work where approximate measurement support is useful.
Anchor points are included for securing specimens with string, making the tray suitable for approved dissecting demonstrations and supervised biology practicals. Non-slip rubber feet help the tray grip the workbench, improving stability during routine laboratory handling and classroom use. The working area is listed as 340 × 290 mm, while the overall tray dimensions are listed as 470 × 330 mm, providing a practical format for individual or shared student workstations. Each tray is supplied with one disposable dissecting mat. Packs of 12 replacement mats are available for separate sale.
The tray is listed as autoclavable polypropylene. Users should confirm the approved sterilisation cycle and temperature suitability before autoclaving. This product is not dishwasher safe. Although polypropylene is resistant to a wide range of chemicals, including alkali salts used in dishwashers, elevated dishwasher temperatures may warp the tray.
This product is intended for laboratory or educational settings only and should be used under appropriate teacher or laboratory supervision. This item is supplied as the TechTray with one disposable dissecting mat only. Replacement mat packs, dissection tools, specimens, PPE, chemicals and additional accessories are not included unless specified separately.
LabChoice Australia supplies TechTray Dissecting and General Purpose Laboratory Trays for school science laboratories, biology classrooms, chemistry teaching spaces, university laboratories and general education environments requiring practical, stackable laboratory trays.
