Portable pH Meter Kit PH8500-FT with LabSen 373 Flat Electrode for Surface Testing, also known as a flat surface pH meter kit, is designed for professional pH measurement on compatible flat surface samples. This kit is suitable for skin, paper, textiles, culture medium and other compatible surface-testing applications. It can also be used for general water-solution pH measurement where the sample and electrode contact method are suitable.
The supplied LabSen® 373 POM-body 3-in-1 Flat pH/Temperature Electrode is designed for direct surface pH measurement. Its flat glass membrane helps provide contact on surfaces where a conventional bulb-style pH electrode may not be practical.
The electrode includes a PTFE ring junction, POM electrode body, blue gel inner solution and long-life reference system. These design features support stable measurement and practical handling in suitable flat surface testing workflows. The PH8500 meter includes GLP standard data management with 500 data sets of storage, manual or automatic storage and USB data output. This supports measurement review, reporting and routine documentation for laboratory and QC workflows.
The meter also supports automatic calibration, self-diagnosis, electrode slope display, auto power-off and easy parameter setting. The large backlit LCD shows pH, temperature, stability status, calibration icons, time and storage information. The IP57 waterproof rating, soft silicone case and foldable stand make the meter suitable for handheld use and benchtop-style laboratory operation.
