The Magnetic Map Orienteering Compasses, Large and Small, also known as map reading compasses or orienteering compasses, are designed for geography, field science, outdoor education and classroom navigation activities. These compasses support practical lessons on direction finding, map orientation, compass bearings, magnetic north and basic navigation skills. The large map orienteering compass is listed with dimensions of 140 × 60 × 17 mm and is supplied in a blister pack, making it suitable for individual fieldwork, classroom demonstrations and outdoor learning activities. The small map orienteering compass is listed with dimensions of 70 × 48 × 9 mm and is supplied in a plain white box, providing a compact option for student use, group activities and class sets.
The small size is also listed as available under LC-80-EM0163-01. Packing for the small compass is listed as 50 per inner carton and 500 per outer carton.
