Description
Magnetic Stirrer range is used for dissolving solids in liquids, stirring volatile solutions, and general microbiology and biochemistry applications that require light agitation or vigorous churning.
This combined magnetic stirrer range includes compact and large models for different stirring volumes and container sizes. The compact model is suitable for smaller flasks and containers up to approximately 2 litres, while the large model is designed for stirring in large flasks and containers up to 20 litres.
Both models use powerful rare earth magnets to provide strong connection to the stir bar and support effective stirring across liquids with varying viscosities. Analogue speed control allows the stirring action to be adjusted according to the application, from light agitation through to more vigorous mixing.
The compact model is recommended for smaller applications, while the larger model is more suitable where increased stirring capacity is required. For best results, the correct size stirring bar and flat base containers should be used. Nitrile rubber mats are supplied with each model, and the large model includes a non-slip rubber mat to help hold flasks securely while mixing.
