Description
Digital Dry Block Heater range is used for sample preservation and reaction work, enzyme digestions, enzyme activity studies, DNA amplification, incubation and activation of cultures, melting and boiling point work, and nucleic acid hybridisations.
Digital Dry Block Heater range provides compact, precise and stable dry heating for routine laboratory applications requiring controlled block-based temperature performance. Available in 1 block, 2 block and 4 block formats, this range supports different sample workloads while maintaining an ambient +5°C to 200°C operating range, 0.1°C digital operation and display, and compatibility with a wide range of standard blocks.
The 1 block model supports compact single block heating requirements. The 2 block model holds 2 standard blocks or 1 x 96 well block, while the 4 block model holds 4 standard blocks or 2 x 96 well blocks. Nitrogen evaporation system availability further supports selected laboratory workflows where compatible setup is required.
Precision digital microprocessor control and digital PID operation provide excellent temperature stability, with a bright dual-line LED display showing both set and current temperatures for clear visibility from across the laboratory. Simple up and down temperature control buttons support straightforward operation, while independent concealed heaters heat each block individually to help achieve rapid heat-up times and excellent spatial uniformity.
For safety and user confidence, the range includes a user-configurable process over-temperature audible and visual alarm, an independent manual reset element over-temperature safety cutout, and an over-current fail-safe fuse. Operating up to 200°C as standard allows the dry block heaters to support digestion applications as well as low-temperature molecular and biological work. Also known as a dry bath incubator, test tube heater, test tube warmer, laboratory tube warmer, constant temperature dry bath heater, or dry block heating system.
