Description
Personal Vortex Mixer is used for thorough mixing of precipitates in test tubes, small bottles, or flasks. In cell culture and microbiology laboratories, it may be used to suspend cells, while in biochemical or analytical laboratories it may be used to mix assay reagents or combine an experimental sample with a dilutant.
Personal Vortex Mixer is a durable and easy-to-use single tube vortex mixer suitable for most test tubes up to 28 mm diameter. It operates from 200 to 2700 rpm and is fitted with a silicon cup for tube mixing.
The mixer has 2 operating modes. In automatic mode, it runs continuously, while in manual mode it operates when the tube is placed in the mixing cup and downward pressure is applied.
The variable speed control allows gentle mixing through to vigorous vortex action. Changing the angle and pressure applied to the tube can also vary the mixing action.
The drive system is counterbalanced to support quiet and smooth operation. Also known as a vortex agitator, vortex shaker, liquid mixer, test tube mixer, or laboratory tube mixer.
