Description
Dry Block Heater Blocks for Epp tubes, when used with a dry block heater, are used for sample preservation and reaction work, enzyme digestions, enzyme activity studies, DNA amplification, incubation and activation of cultures, melting and boiling point work, and nucleic acid hybridisations.
This combined block range includes formats for 20 x 1.5 mL Epp tubes, 30 x 0.5 mL Epp tubes, and 48 x 0.2 mL Epp tubes. Each block is designed with a tapered hole base type, chemical-resistant black anodised finish, thermometer reference hole, and compatibility with many other dry block heater brands.
Each block measures L95 x W75 x H50 mm and is made from solid black anodised aluminium. The solid construction supports rapid heat transfer and fast block heat-up when used in a dry block heater, while excellent temperature uniformity supports reliable laboratory heating performance across compatible tube formats.
These blocks are designed to suit dry block heaters and can also fit many other brands of dry block heaters. Customised blocks are also available upon request when a standard block is unsuitable, with 50 mm, 80 mm, and 100 mm depths available to suit a wide range of applications. Also known as an Eppendorf block, Eppendorf tube block, dry bath block, constant temperature block, or test tube block.
