The Digital Salinity Refractometer, also known as a digital sodium chloride refractometer, is designed for measuring salinity and refractive index in compatible liquid samples. This DR-201 model is used for measuring salinity of solutions such as sodium chloride solution, as well as the refractive index of the measured sample. The salinity measuring range is listed as 0.0 to 28.0%, with an additional salinity scale of 0 to 280‰. The specific gravity range is listed as 1.000 to 1.217.
The refractive index range is listed as 1.3330 to 1.3900 nD, supporting refractive index measurement for compatible liquid samples within the instrument range.
