Description
Accessory kits for IEC 2.0 m and 2.5 m air tracks, supplied as spark recording measuring tracks, air tube assembly parts, full operation experiment parts, or a two photogate measuring kit. Spark recording kits include insulated electrode and paper tape tracks plus glider pens to transfer sparks onto tape for dot measurement, spark generator is not included. Assembly and operation kits suit both 2.0 m and 2.5 m tracks. Photogate kit includes two universal photogates with cables and mounting legs, timer is not included.
Spark recording kit for the 2.5 m air track. Includes a pair of special insulated tracks carrying the spark electrodes and a pair of insulated tracks carrying the paper tapes. All parts are included except the spark generator. Pens that fit to the gliders carry the spark from the electrodes to the paper tape without contact to help preserve friction free operation. Sparks through the paper tape make black dots, measured in pitch to calculate velocities and accelerations.

Air track air tube assembly kit only, supplied separately and the same for both 2.0 m and 2.5 m air tracks. Contains sets of feet, level adjusting screws, end caps, O-ring seals, and tube screws. Includes the metric tape that fits the length of the track and the end plug that blocks the air.
Air track operation kit containing parts for performing experiments, the same for both 2.0 m and 2.5 m tracks. Includes 2 long and 2 short gliders, spring buffers, non spring buffers, various springs, track pulley, loop springs, magnets, weights, inclination blocks, with instructions. Included in the 2.5 m LC-80-MF0105Z-001 and 2.0 m LC-80-MF0107Z-001 complete air tracks, and available separately.
Photogate kit containing two universal photogates with all cables and plugs required for connecting to a digital timer, timer is not included. Gates supplied with special legs that push into the sides of the gates so they engage firmly to the outer corners of the normal triangular air track, allowing the gates to become integral with the track and slide along the track to any position.
