The Air Track Foot Adjusting Screw Lock Nut, Plastic, also known as an air track plastic foot locking nut, is designed for compatible later model air track systems. This spare part is a blue plastic nut used to lock the foot height adjusting screw in place on a compatible air track plastic foot. It helps maintain the selected foot height after adjustment, supporting stable levelling and alignment before approved physics experiments. The lock nut is useful for laboratories maintaining air tracks used for motion, dynamics, acceleration, velocity and collision demonstrations.
Users should confirm the air track model, plastic foot design, adjusting screw thread, nut fit and installation method before ordering or use. The lock nut should be fitted securely before the air track is operated. Do not use if the nut, adjusting screw or plastic foot is damaged, loose or incompatible.
