Description
10 Roller Tube Roller Mixer range is ideal for mixing blood samples, viscous substances, and liquid-solid suspensions where minimal aeration is required. It can also be used to help with sample defrosting.
This combined 10 roller range includes the standard tilt model and the no-tilt parallel roller model. Both formats can accommodate different vials, small bottles, and test tubes of various sizes, with each pair of rollers able to hold up to 1 kilogram. The 10 roller models can hold up to 54 x 5 mL blood tubes.
The standard 10 roller model uses coated aluminium rollers mounted on eccentric drive spindles to provide rocking and rolling motion for thorough mixing action. Parallel rollers can be specified if preferred. The no-tilt model uses coated aluminium rollers running parallel to provide a smooth rolling action without tilt.
Roller speed is variable between 10 and 60 rpm to cover a wide range of mixing requirements. The sprocket and chain drive, together with ball race roller mounting, support smooth and trouble-free operation. The 10 roller tilt and no-tilt formats can run continuously for many hours unattended. Also known as an analogue tube roller, test tube roller, roller mixer, or tissue culture roller.
