Description
The Water Hardness Test Paper Strips, also known as water hardness test strips or calcium carbonate hardness indicator strips, are designed for quick screening of water hardness in compatible water samples. These strips measure water hardness due to calcium carbonate as listed, helping users identify whether a water sample is soft, moderately hard or hard using the supplied colour comparison method. The ppm calibration points are listed as 0, 50, 125, 250 and 500 ppm, supporting practical comparison across common water hardness levels.
The strips are also calibrated in grains per gallon at 0, 3, 7, 15 and 30 grains per gallon, giving users an additional hardness scale for interpretation. This product is suitable for classroom demonstrations, water-quality education, routine screening and general laboratory activities where approximate water hardness information is required. Users should confirm sample type, colour chart availability, test method, reading time, storage condition, expiry status and accuracy requirement before use.
These strips are intended for approximate water hardness screening only.
